Haiden Deegan Reflects on Training with Eli Tomac as He Prepares for 450 Move and Eli’s Final Season
As Haiden Deegan continues to make waves in the 250SX class, he is setting his sights on the 450 class, drawing inspiration from none other than Eli Tomac. Deegan recently spent time training with Tomac, gaining invaluable insights from the seasoned champion.
Training with a Legend
Deegan had the opportunity to train alongside Eli Tomac at Tomac’s facility in Colorado. While Deegan has dominated the 250 class, including securing his first 250 class MX Nationals Championship in 2024, he is now eyeing a move to the 450 class. Deegan sees this transition as an opportunity to learn and grow. “I think it’s going to be nice going to the 450,” Deegan said. “My first year on the 450 will be like my first year on a 250 was; you don’t have to win but you are going to go out there and have fun.” He views the move as a chance to gain experience and see how he measures up against the top riders in the sport.
Eli Tomac’s Final Season
Eli Tomac, a multi-time Supercross and motocross champion, is approaching the end of his illustrious career. While he has not officially announced his retirement, many believe that the 2025 season may be his last.
