Jordan Marshall: Michigan’s Rising Star Running Back Poised for 2025 Breakout

Jordan Marshall, a four-star recruit from Cincinnati’s Archbishop Moeller High School, has quickly made a name for himself in Michigan’s backfield. In his freshman season, Marshall showcased his potential with 120 rushing yards over 31 carries and 225 kickoff return yards across five games. His performance culminated in a standout 100-yard, MVP-winning effort in the 2024 ReliaQuest Bowl against Alabama, filling in for opt-out seniors Kalel Mullings and Donovan Edwards .

Head coach Sherrone Moore drew comparisons between Marshall and former Michigan standout Blake Corum, praising his physicality, vision, and burst . Analysts from 247Sports also anticipate a breakout season for Marshall in 2025 .
