JUST IN: Isaac TeSlaa Signs Four-Year Deal with Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions have officially signed third-round draft pick Isaac TeSlaa to a four-year rookie contract, solidifying his place on the roster for the upcoming season. TeSlaa, selected 70th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, announced the signing on Instagram, expressing his excitement with the caption: “Officially a Lion. God is so good.”

The contract is valued at $6.654 million, including a $1.486 million signing bonus. Annual salaries range from $840,000 to $1.713 million, with additional workout bonuses totaling $85,000 for the 2026 through 2028 seasons.

TeSlaa’s addition brings the number of signed draft picks to five out of seven, with only second-round selections Tyleik Williams and Tate Ratledge remaining unsigned. While delays in signing second-round picks are common, the Lions are expected to finalize these contracts before training camp in July.

Known for his 6’4″, 214-pound frame and impressive 4.43-second 40-yard dash, TeSlaa is anticipated to contribute to the Lions’ receiving corps, which includes standout players like Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. While his role may start modestly, the organization has expressed confidence in his potential for future impact.
