A Glimpse into Elway’s Legacy

Directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Ezra Holland, ELWAY delves into Elway’s early days at Stanford University, his dramatic entry into the NFL, and his legendary tenure with the Denver Broncos. The documentary highlights his two Super Bowl victories as a player and a third as an executive with the Broncos. It also explores lesser-known aspects of his life, including his refusal to play for the Baltimore Colts in the 1983 NFL Draft and his leadership struggles during Denver’s Super Bowl losses in the late ’80s. Elway himself serves as an executive producer, providing personal reflections throughout the film.
