Broncos head coach Sean Payton expressed enthusiasm about adding Dobbins to the roster, highlighting his running balance and instincts as standout traits. Payton emphasized the importance of competition within the running back group, stating, “It’s going to help the competition,” and noted that roles would be determined through training camp .
With Dobbins’ addition, the Broncos’ running back depth chart now includes rookie RJ Harvey, second-year players Audric EstimĂ© and Jaleel McLaughlin, and veterans Tyler Badie and Blake Watson. The team waived long snapper Zach Triner to make room for Dobbins on the roster .
As the Broncos prepare for the upcoming season, all eyes will be on how Dobbins integrates into the offense and contributes to the team’s success.
