Breaking News: Broncos agree to contract terms with five

The Denver Broncos have reached an agreement on a four-year rookie contract with outside linebacker Que Robinson, according to the Denver Post’s Parker Gabriel. Robinson is expected to sign the deal before rookie minicamp begins this week.

The Broncos picked Robinson in the fourth round of this year’s NFL draft at pick No. 134. The Alabama defender and special teams ace is expected to serve as a rotational OLB and key special teams contributor.

As the 134th pick in the draft, Robinson is slotted to receive $5,052,663, according to Spotrac.com. Over the next four years, Robinson is projected to earn $1,053,166, $1,218,166, $1,333,166 and $1,448,166. Only the top 51 contracts count against Denver’s salary cap during the offseason, so Robinson will have a minimal cap charge in Year 1.

Robinson played behind star OLBs including Will Anderson and Dallas Turner in college, so he did not emerge as a key defensive player until 2024, and that season was cut short by injury after nine games. The Broncos expect him to make an immediate impact on special teams while competing for rotational playing time on defense.
