No. 1 Player in America Commits to Florida Gators over Tennessee, Georgia Penn state…

The Florida Gators have secured a significant commitment for their 2025 recruiting class. Jayden Woods, a four-star EDGE rusher from Shawnee, Kansas, has flipped his commitment from Penn State to Florida. Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 240 pounds, Woods is ranked as the No. 130 overall player nationally by the 247Sports Composite and No. 75 by 247Sports’ internal rankings. His commitment is considered one of the most impactful for the Gators in this recruiting cycle. ([KGW News][1], [OnlyGators][2])

Woods had been committed to Penn State since June but made an official visit to Florida during the Ole Miss game. Just a week later, he announced his decision to join the Gators. His commitment adds to Florida’s momentum in recruiting, following recent flips from other top programs. ([OnlyGators][2])

This move strengthens Florida’s defensive line for the 2025 season and highlights the program’s growing appeal among elite prospects.
