Breaking news Wildcats are picked in the latest Sports Illustrated mock draft…..

  1. In the latest NBA mock draft by Sports Illustrated, two Wildcats—Carter Bryant from the University of Arizona and Otega Oweh from the University of Kentucky—have been projected to be selected in the first round.

Carter Bryant, a standout forward for the Arizona Wildcats, has garnered significant attention from NBA scouts. Standing at 6’6.5″, Bryant’s blend of size, shooting, passing, and defensive versatility has made him a potential lottery pick. Sports Illustrated currently projects him as the 15th overall pick, going to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Analysts believe his skills could be a strong fit for teams like the San Antonio Spurs, who hold the 14th pick.

On the other hand, Otega Oweh, a guard from the Kentucky Wildcats, is also making waves in the draft projections. After a standout season under coach Mark Pope, Oweh is considering his options, with the NBA draft withdrawal deadline approaching. Currently, he is projected as the 58th pick in Sports Illustrated’s mock draft, heading to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Should he decide to return to Kentucky, Oweh aims to enhance his shooting and defense to improve his draft position for the 2026 NBA Draft.

Both players have showcased exceptional talent during their collegiate careers, and their potential selections in the upcoming NBA Draft highlight the continued prominence of Wildcats in professional basketball.
