Netflix Announces ‘Man vs Baby’ Starring Rowan Atkinson
Netflix has officially announced the production of Man vs Baby, a new comedy series starring Rowan Atkinson, best known for his iconic roles in Mr. Bean and Man vs Bee. The show marks a follow-up to the 2022 hit Man vs Bee, where Atkinson portrayed Trevor Bingley, a well-meaning housesitter whose attempts to care for a luxurious mansion were thwarted by a mischievous bee. In this new series, Trevor faces an even more unpredictable challenge: babysitting a baby in a high-end London penthouse.
The series is set to consist of four 30-minute episodes and is currently in production. Atkinson returns as co-creator and co-writer alongside Will Davies, with David Kerr directing. The production team behind Man vs Bee is also returning to ensure a seamless continuation of the comedic style that audiences enjoyed in the original series.
To celebrate the start of production, Netflix released a playful promotional image featuring Atkinson’s face superimposed onto scenes from other popular Netflix shows, such as Sex Education and Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, humorously depicting him interacting with babies.
