The Nebraska Cornhuskers are trying to get back to being one of the best teams in the Big Ten, trying to get back to being considered a blue blood or blue chip program. Obviously, they need to win to do that, but they also need to recruit well.
And ultimately, those two go hand in hand. When they recruit well, usually the team will be better. Of course, coaching has to do with it all, too, but recruiting may be the most important thing in today’s world of college football, a world that is always changing.
Recently, there was news regarding a new offer they sent out.
Nebraska submits scholarship offer to 2027 ATH Lawrence Britt
Lawrence Britt is a four-star athlete, yes, athlete, as he has played many positions in high school, in the 2027 recruiting class. He plays at Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tennessee. At 6’2” and 180 pounds, he’s a versatile two-way player, excelling as a wide receiver, defensive back, and linebacker. He does a little bit of everything.
Ranked No. 20 overall and No. 3 athlete by 247Sports, Britt received a scholarship offer from the Oregon Ducks in May, so the Huskers will have some competition — competition that may be much more appealing. Regardless, he has speed, size, and playmaking ability, making him a top target for bigger schools and bigger football programs. So, he’s going to draw attention from a ton of schools.
