Breaking news: FINAL SIGHTING New CCTV shows missing student vomiting in bar before vanishing from resort as ‘person of interest changes story……

Here’s the latest on the disappearance of University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki:

Shocking CCTV Footage Captures Final Moments

At around 4 a.m. on March 6, video from the Riu República resort bar in Punta Cana shows 20-year‑old Sudiksha with friends. She appears to vomit in a grassy area before returning to the group .

A 24‑year‑old American, Joshua Riibe, also appears distressed in the footage—bent over and possibly ill—but he and Sudiksha are not seen interacting .

Person of Interest & Changing Narratives

Riibe, reportedly the last person seen with Sudiksha, shared a kiss on the beach and later claimed he rescued her from rough surf, then became ill and lost sight of her .

In four separate interviews, Riibe gave inconsistent accounts and—when pressed—refused to answer certain questions, citing legal counsel .

He is officially under monitoring in Punta Cana, unable to leave, but has not been charged; he remains a person of interest, not a suspect .

Investigation & Search Efforts

Authorities initially speculated Sudiksha may have drowned in rough surf near the resort, but this remains unconfirmed, and officials are keeping the scope open .

Aerial drones, boats, scuba divers, and canine units have been deployed in the area, yet no trace of Sudiksha has been found .

Both the FBI and U.S. Department of Homeland Security are assisting Dominican investigators .

💔 Family’s Plea & Unanswered Questions

Sudiksha, an Indian–American biology student on spring break, disappeared on March 6, 2025, at Riu República, Punta Cana.

Her clothes were later found on a beach chair—no signs of foul play—but suspicion remains given the unsettled beach conditions .

The family has asked Dominican authorities to consider the possibility of her being declared dead, due to the lack of evidence she survived .

Sudiksha’s father has urged investigators to explore all alternatives, including possible kidnapping or human trafficking, rather than assuming accidental drowning .

Outlook

The investigation is ongoing and active, with missing-person protocols in place.

Authorities continue to appeal for anyone with information—particularly other individuals who may have been on the beach at the time—to come forward .

The discrepancies in Riibe’s statements continue to draw scrutiny and may be key to solving the case.

This case remains fluid, with significant questions, particularly surrounding Riibe’s changing story and the circumstances leading up to Sudiksha’s last sighting.
