The Pittsburgh Steelers are in disarray as they prepare to face the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday. They’ve dropped two straight games at home, to the Arizona Cardinals and the New England Patriots. Before facing the Steelers, the two teams combined for four victories.
To make matters worse, the Steelers were hit by the injury bug on the defensive side of the ball. T.J. Watt, the Steelers’ star edge rusher, cleared concussion protocol on Wednesday and is expected to play against the Colts on Saturday.

Watt has been selected to the Pro Bowl in each of the last five seasons. This season, he has 14 sacks in 13 games for the Colts. He’s a game changer for the Steelers, and his return will be a huge boost for the team.
However, the Steelers’ biggest issue this season has come from the opposing team. Starting quarterback Kenny Pickett was injured in the Cardinals’ loss on December 3rd.

The Steelers enter their game against the Colts ranked 27th in both yards and scoring.
The Steelers weren’t breaking any records with Pickett, but they were even worse in Mitch Trubisky’s first start of the season last week against the Patriots.
The Colts are dealing with their own injury issues ahead of Saturday’s game. Braden Smith and Jonathan Taylor were both absent from practice on Wednesday. Cornerback Jaylon Jones has returned to the lineup.
