NASHVILLE—Las Vegas Raiders interim coach Antonio Pierce interviewed with Tennessee Titans leadership on Saturday for the head coaching position left available by Mike Vrabel’s departure.

After the Raiders fired Josh McDaniels, Pierce, 45, took over as head coach. He guided the squad to an upset victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas, finishing with a 5-4 record. The Raiders are considering removing Pierce’s interim tag, but he is weighing his options as they continue to evaluate other applicants.

Pierce began coaching as a high school head coach at Long Beach Poly in California before joining Arizona State in 2018 as linebackers coach and recruitment coordinator. He worked at Arizona State from 2018 to 2021, where he was promoted to Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator. After that, he joined the Raiders.
