Willie Gay, a Kansas City Chiefs linebacker, had an encouraging update on Wednesday after being forced to leave his team’s win against the Buffalo Bills due to a neck injury.

The Chiefs practiced on Wednesday as they prepare to meet the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game, and Gay was not on the list of players who were kept out, according to Adam Teicher of ESPN.

“The Chiefs will practice today without Trey Smith, Mike Edwards, Isiah Pacheco, Joe Thuney”
