Our young Sharks will prepare for their junior representative seasons with a series of trials at Hillier Oval in Liverpool on Saturday.

The women’s Lisa Fiaola (under 17s) and Tarsha Gale (19s) squads play Wests Tigers, while the men’s Harold Matthews (17s) and SG Ball (19s) face Wests Magpies. The four competitions start on Saturday, February 3.

The junior rep teams’ second trial follows good pre-Christmas matches against South Sydney, but with larger squads.

The under 16s and 18s pathways teams are also back in action, taking on Macarthur Wests Tigers’ Laurie Daley and Andrew Johns Cup sides.

A final trial for the Harold Matthews and SG Ball teams is slated for Saturday, January 20 against the Bulldogs at Sharks Academy (Cronulla High School fields), while the Lisa Fiaola and Tarsha Gale ladies will face the Bears.

Full information about those matches will be supplied closer to the date.

Meanwhile, the men’s Jersey Flegg (under 21s) squad continues to train hard ahead of trial matches in February and the first round on March 10.
